  • My students perform on Broadway, with Regional companies across the United States and Canada, go to prestigious universities, and perform regularly in local theatre companies, high school productions, and in other diverse venues.

Originally from Oakland, California, I have been performing in Musical Theatre, Opera, and professional choirs since the age of 10. I have advanced degrees in vocal performance from the University of California, Irvine and the University of Washington. In 1998, I moved to New York City to study with the renowned voice teacher and pedagogue, Cornelius Reid.

During my years in NYC, I:

  • maintained a successful private vocal studio
  • performed regularly
  • was a Visiting Professor of Voice at Ball State University, Department of Theatre and Dance

In 2011, my husband and I relocated to Salem, Oregon to take care of my elderly mother.

While there, I:

  • performed regularly with local theatres and community groups

My recent Musical Theatre roles include The Witch in Into the Woods, the Woman in Marry Me A Little, and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz. My operatic roles include Musetta in La Bohème and Despina in Così fan tutte. Other highlights include a solo recital at the Salle Cortot in Paris, France, and performing with the Metropolitan Opera Guild’s Opera Outreach program, introducing young people to opera.
